Barcodile
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
Barcodile is built so that your cards stay yours. We don’t collect, sell or share your personal data.
Your cards
The cards you add (name, code, number, note and design) are stored on your device and, when iCloud is on, in your private iCloud database through Apple’s CloudKit. Only you have access to it; we can’t see it.
What we don’t collect
Barcodile has no account, analytics, advertising or tracking. It doesn’t read your location and doesn’t send your data to us or to anyone else.
Camera and photos
The camera and the photos you choose are only used to read a card’s code, number and colors. This happens on your device, and the photo itself is never saved.
Face ID
Face ID protects the cards you choose. The app only learns whether the check succeeded; your face data stays in Apple’s system on your device.
Sharing a card
A shared link carries the card in the part after the # sign. Browsers don’t send that part to the server, so this website never receives your card. Anyone with the link can see and save the card.
This website
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which may keep technical access logs (such as IP address and time) to run and protect the service. The pages use no cookies, analytics or third-party content.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
